What exactly is the MBC (Multifamily Breakfast Club)?
It’s one part networking, one part storytelling, and one part field trip. We bring multifamily professionals together for real conversations, a few laughs, and a property tour that always steals the show!
What’s the deal with Show & Tell?
Show & Tell is our way of bringing introductions back to life. Instead of the usual “name and title” routine, attendees share something fun that highlights who they are: a favorite snack, a book, a quirky hobby, anything! It’s completely optional but trust us… it’s the perfect icebreaker to kick off authentic conversation!
Who can attend?
MBC is for property management professionals: onsite teams, regionals, and leadership. Sorry suppliers, this one’s for the folks running the communities.
What happens on the tour?
The tour is the grand finale. We explore the amenities and models, snap photos, share laughs, and see what makes each community shine.
Can I bring a coworker?
Absolutely! Just make sure they RSVP first.
What markets are you hosting in?
Right now, MBC calls Atlanta home but we’re hitting the road! The goal is to take MBC national (and hey, I probably wouldn’t turn down a trip to Hawaii).
How many people attend?
We keep it intentionally intimate…small enough for real talk, big enough for new perspectives. Attendance sometimes caps based on the space.
If I attend, will I end up on the website photo gallery?
There’s a good chance! We love capturing the fun, and all attendees sign a photo/video disclaimer so we can share the energy that makes MBC what it is.
What’s an Interactive Whiteboard Session?
It’s where your ideas take the spotlight. Attendees submit topics in advance, and together we brainstorm, problem-solve, and share real-world insights…no lectures, just collaboration, conversation, and a few “why didn’t I think of that?” moments.
What if I can’t stay for the entire event?
Come anyway! We’ll make it worth your time and be sure you get a chance to introduce yourself before you head out.
Do the events ever feature a guest speaker?
Sometimes! We occasionally bring in a guest speaker to spark new ideas or share fresh perspectives but never a snooze-fest. It’s always conversational, relevant, and keeps the MBC vibe alive!
Are maintenance professionals allowed to attend?
Not only allowed but encouraged! Maintenance pros are the heartbeat of every community and often underrepresented at events like this. MBC is all about changing that.
Do I have to be a certain level or title to attend? What if I’m just getting started in multifamily?
Titles don’t matter here. Whether you’re a Leasing Professional or a COO, MBC is about people, not positions. If you’re passionate about connection and growth, you’ll fit right in!
What if I work in student housing or senior living? Can I attend?
Absolutely. MBC is for anyone in the multifamily space: student housing, senior living, conventional, affordable, or lease-up. If you’re creating community, we’d love to meet you!
